EI Refunds - Free help from CFIB

There is no need to pay third-party organizations to obtain an EI refund for you. You can save thousands by doing it on your own with CFIB's help.

If you employ family members in your business:

• CFIB can help you request a ruling from Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to determine if Employment Premiums should be paid by your company and relative(s).
• If the CRA ruling determines your company and relative(s) should not be paying EI premiums, both of you would be entitled to a EI premium refund.
• Unlike many third-party refund assistance businesses, CFIB does not take a portion of your refund. You keep the entire amount.

CFIB members can obtain EI premium refund information, and the CRA application forms in the Member Centre. Login with your CFIB member number and password.
